[Sticky] 2019 Arizona State Field Target Championships & AAFTA G/P Sept 20 -22 at Mormon Lake
The match notice and registration is posted on the Airgunners of Arizona website;
Phoenix Sky Harbor Intl Airport is the closest. Flagstaff has an airport, but it is tiny and can't handle more than small twin engine planes.
Fortunately, Flagstaff (and Mormon Lake) is basically a straight shot up I-17.
email me if you need more info. Larry Piercy is match director this year as I will be out of town the several weeks prior to the match. All correspondence will be going through him.
Ron, you are not allowed to buy any more raffle tickets.....LOL
For other CASA members, fill out the registration and send it into the address on the form. We're old school; a stamp and an envelope works just fine although there are some detractors (one or two) that have problems with that.
Chris, Thanks for the info. Is there any reason you are not staying in the same one as 2017 or is the West - Woodland Village closer. Seems to me when I was checking out places to stay that both motels were rated about 3.2 out of 5 but I could be wrong on that for it is only from memory. Was evident that Motels / Hotels with good names were somewhat expensive like $275 and up per night in Flagstaff.
There are 3 or 4 Motel 6 in Flagstaff area. This particular one has food across the street, and is very convenient for getting onto Lake Mary Road (two blocks away) which leads to the venue. It is only 20 VERY picturesque miles to the site.
This particular motel is nice and clean also and the prices are reasonable. Yeah, there are other name brand motel/hotels in Flag that are pricey.
