In SOME ways it looks like the two part stock of a DIANA P-1000, but it lacks some other aspects.

Just as curious as BanjoBart.

Sheridan .020 silver streak. I left most of the imperfections still in the stock. Seemed appropriate for the age.

Well, although this stock doesn't really compare to the Benelli Beauty, since it is a fairly soft wood, it nonetheless has its own beauty

.  I acquired a few Crosman 160s and some had pretty rough furniture.  I refinished one using a dark brown stain, which is not near the original.  The original stain used by Crosman really masked the figuration of the wood.  I haven't been able to find out what kind of wood this is but I would surely like to know!
