Anyone know of any gun makers that sell blemished stocks? I remember someone on one of the air gun forums had got a nicely figured walnut second stock and inletted it for an air gun.

I know only of Redbeck in the UK. Perhaps Doug Phillips could point you in the right direction?

I bought mine from Calico Hardwoods. It was a Weatherby stock, rough cut and un-inletted factory second because of a knot hole. Worked out great for me.

Thanks for the info CitizenK. Its tough to get stuff shipped here at a reasonable price from the UK. Very long story short took me about two months to get my Ultra Walnut stock.

@randy, your post was the one I was referring to. Ill give them a call. Hopefully they have some nice blanks in. Gonna practice on some 2x4s first but want to don my HW 30 in some nice walnut.
