I  like to use the Priority Mail cardboard boxes from the Post Office.

The medium size filled with rubber mulch.

Using them and filling with rubber mulch makes recycling the lead very easy.

I made a wheeled cart to hold them and, that way I can pull it back toward the shooting location for different ranges, after first putting it at 55 yards.

Works very well, IMHO..

I really like your DIY.

I once saw Anthony Storey (Indiana) operate a remote control toy 4 wheel drive that was outfitted with a paper/target frame.  A single target for use at any range. That's what I like best about your DIY wheeled target AND your idea traps the lead.

I might get an RC truck like my Silverado to tow the target.

One of our shooters here in Northern California is into that hobby too, and could help me out..

would a wood box work better with some slide ins for a cardboard front because that is a hell of a lot of duct tape

build the wood once, cardboard can be change out whenever needed and you lose the duct tape

the cart idea is great and an RC truck to pull it, moving target anyone

Wood would work but I had this aluminum crate.

Actually, re-purposed from a rifle carrying FT gizmo.

It didn’t fit my rifles, so...

Duct tape is in-expensive at HF and is used to keep the rubber mulch enclosed..
