i recently went to change pressure in my vortex piston for my mod 125 .25 cal .i went to sites that had suggestions to depressurize one way or another and following suggestions to a T al ended up with was higher pressure. so using my photo adjustment options i analized only one photo avalaible and discovered the photo was hiding key information and that is key to the issue. so i can not recommend doing what i did but i can provide pics and feedback of how i personally sovled the issue. so with the psiton under high pressure, 3000 plus psi. i put in ear plugs and safety goggles along with safety gloves i began to unthread the fill port end of the type 2 vortex hatsan piston. then the first o ring apeared from the flange of the piston then easing ever so slightly i began to expose a fraction of the second o ring and then like a bicycle tire flat the air released. as for cylinder going boom as far as i can find i have analyzed several high presure cylinders recieving full pass thru of high caliber pb with zero boom. and so here are the pics of what i see as desing for air release. and lastly as stated in begining of thread i do not recommend or suggest to do what i did. i am simply sharing my story and furthering feed back information. here are the pics i just took
