I have used this one for years. I remove the barrel on longer guns but wanted to show you with one in it. Cost around $50

Most barrels fit nicely in a 5/8" hole bored in a fir 2x4. Clamped solid to the table. Small brass block between the chuck and trigger block to prevent marring and avoids damaging the safety on this FWB 124
