Mine has a LW barrel and an Alteros regulator. Nice machining by the way. I'm a terrible machinist. If you ever have to change the orings you'll be glad you used the set screws.
I am no machinist that’s for sure this turned out mostly because of pure luck.
Right after I got it put together and ready to take out for a few test shots I thought I just top off my air tank and it started to leak I had to replace the O-ring on the fill valve.
I have another bridge that I’m thinking of converting to 25 and I get a marauder barrel for that.
I’ve done a bit of valve work as well as modified the hammer and installed an SSG so at this point I’m not thinking of a regulator
I have another breech not bridge.
Not sure how many air gunners keeping their old BAM’s ...I appreciate that commitment. Did help rebarrel one (not mine)...some issue barrels are good, some didn’t work out.
Threading it in is a good idea..steel breech seems thick enough, would promotes stiffness.
Don’t see any reason they can’t shoot great given a good barrel. Trigger at least good, can get the valve to be uniform, breech attachment to the tube quite secure, really thick (heavy) air tube.
(At it’s most basic….well secured fitted breech, well secured fitted barrel, uniform air release from the valve, good barrel…..why wouldn’t it shoot well?)
This one ended up with a 14” LOP...a little long for me with a winter coat on , just about right for T-shirt weather.

Not my stock work..bought it used about 2010.
My B50 is a tank and has been thoroughly gone over inside and out. I have spare parts on hand and now it will be much more rewarding to shoot. I think its time to refinish the stock.
