NFAA Easton Archery Complex in Yankton SD. Magnificent venue!
Great location!!! only 14 hours or so from here!!!!!
My question is what power levels are they gonna allow? Cuz its a US hosted event, can we shoot at US FT levels? or are we at 12 ft lbs?
Would like to know this NOW so I can start prepping and training at that power level....
Hey Dan,
How lucky, for the first time a FT match is remotely close to you!
To my knowledge it will be ran like it has for the past years and by the sub 12 WFTC rules to qualify to be an actual worlds.
Time to get practicing!
Cam
To help shooters prepare for the Worlds the 2020 Carolina Classic GP will set the match course using KZ sizes equivalent to WFTC standards. If you have specific questions please submit them on the Update page of the Grand Prix website.
See you soon!
Thanks

What's the word for 2022? Do we still have it? South Africa is moving forward for 2021.
@john-in-ma
PROPOSED CHANGES, AWAITING FINAL CONFIRMATION:
· WFTC 2021: South Africa to be cancelled
· WFTC 2022: USA as initially planned
· WFTC 2023: South Africa
Thanks for the update.
@john-in-ma
The USA has declined 2022, were looking at 2024, after South Africa.

More time for folks to switch to WFTF class:-) and practice, practice practice!

@greg5850 I hope you are Kidding? Was this put up to a vote?
If so as a club owner I did not get a vote or email about it.
@jacob-sumner
Hi Jacob!
What follows are my personal views only.
As you know, the match will be jointly sponsored between the Minnesota Airgun club and the National Field Target Archery Association. Match management was handed off by AAFTA to them. In my view, that was a sound decision. MAFTA/NFAA is taking on substantial financial and organizational risk. From where I sit, if I was in their shoes, I wouldn't want any outside agency controlling the decisions that I have to make. If the Ashland Club was handling it I'd also expect that they'd be given the same consideration.
I'm also certain that when things firm up MAFTA/NFAA & the WFTF will let us all know in a timely manner. There's still stuff to be worked out.

or in my case age out
Will,
I already "aged out" But, If I'm still ticken, I'll be there to embarrass myself:-)
Keith is right... anyone who has tried to make a budget work for a Nationals or WFTF Championships knows it's really critical to reach a certain level of attendance.... A club can loose really big time if things don't all balance.
