Hello all I am not sure if this is the correct location for this post. But I am trying to reach companies for sponsors and donations for the Nationals prizes and raffles for funding. If interested please drop a response here and or contact Wayne@airgunoregon.com.
Jacob, Wayne & the Airgun Oregon Crew .....
Ok a week has gone by and OVER a 1000 looks without a single suggestion or peep.
Just as an FYI ... You guys Need Too personally contact and speak with EVERY SINGLE distributor, dealer, individual or business you are wishing to have involved talking about WHAT & Where there contribution or donation will do, How and Where there namesake will get advertised, in print or web shared etc ... What do they get out of it in return ?
We're talking dang near banging on every door, talk talk talk and then talk some more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will get turned down many times simply because you don't have other power players support and if you land such, need to go back and talk with those who said no thanks again sharing with them who else in on board now and how there support now has a larger audience and there money a greater chance to come back to them.
THIS IS HOW IT WORKS ..... Surely after 2 years on planning for the West Coast Nationals your just picking up the loose ends.
While we all wish you luck with a sign such as that of the homeless person stating PLEASE HELP OUT ... you will get a lot readers and very few givers.
Hope it all comes together by October.
Respectfully stated ...
@motorhead Kinda felt more like a left hook than a jab Scott lol. People have been responding in email as requested and I just spent the weekend face to face with so many vendors in Utah at RMAC doing just that.
This post was for the small guys, whom I can not reach without the as you said homeless style cardboard sign here lol. Hoping to give them a chance to reach us if they see an opportunity that would benefit getting their names out.
The answer is always no until you ask. Just another platform slash method of doing such. Thank you for the advice though and I will be the first to admit I would rather do business in person than using any other method.

Actually, within 5 minutes of Jacob posting the topic there was a reply, subsequently deleted as it had served its purpose, with @ mentions of most of the dealers and MoTs (70+) registered here. Within hours most of them had visited here and the linked nationals topic. Of course I have no way of knowing how many took the time email Wayne...
So, it was not a complete shot in the dark.
