As I have written MANY times, if you look long enough, you will find that there are VERY FEW things that are truly new.
This is a snip of a DIANA catalog from 1932 (Yup! 97 years, almost a century old):
The translation for the Clown target Item # 7676 is:
"Clown target with a foldable head, made of strong painted sheet steel. If the head is hit at the top of the target point, it disappears and is brought back to life by a hit in the center. This eliminates the annoying adjustment after each hit."
Sounds familiar?
Keep well and shoot straight!

What is new is sometimes just new 'again'. I ran into this when designing/building custom mountain bike frames in the mid to late 90's. In the early 1900's bicycles became a big thing and not only did they quickly adopt the triangle frame style we use today they had all kinds of full suspension designs that never really took off. It took nearly 100 years for us to revisit full suspension bicycle designs.
Diana, that brings back some memories. We had one Diana across the group of friends when I was a youngster. It was hands down the best airgun of the bunch. Not only in fit/finish, it was more accurate.
