Well the 2019 Sacramento Valley Field Target Season is about 4 weeks away with the opening match scheduled for Saturday March 23rd at the Ione range. A match announcement will be sent out prior to the match.

A few weeks ago you received an email from Scott asking about interest in a Field Target workshop, well the limited response we received gave us little to work with as far as how to conduct the workshop so we have decided to make it a day of knowledge transfer for those seeking such and practice/fun day for the rest of you. So here is what we are planning.

When: Saturday March 9th 10:00am weather permitting, Sunday March 10th if we are rained out on Saturday. 

Where: Cameron and Jessica's Ranch, 3840 Point Pleasant Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95757
** This is NOT our typical match location, see clubs link for that information  

What: Fun day of FT practice. Workshops for Hunter Class Tips, Piston Shooter Techniques, and perhaps a WFTF PCP Tips group. We will have a large number of targets available so you can practice knocking down the real thing. Come on out and get your rifle set up for the coming season and have some fun. 

This is open to anyone who might have an interest in Field Target, so if you have friends that you think might enjoy it please bring them along. 

We will provide beverages and snacks for the day.
