We met today, gathered in Concord as the wind and rain tossed the red safety flag about.
“Where shall we three meet again in thunder, lightning, or in rain? When the hurlyburly 's done, when the battle 's lost and won?”
One brand new shooter came with a Gamo Urban in .22- another shooter attending his second match, again with a detuned .22. They both shot incredibly well, staying right in the hunt with the rest of the competitors.
Two brothers, identically determined to take it all. International FT shooters like Riz, Son Lu and Cameron, along with local stars like Chris M. and Jim W. And there were more, all coming out in the wet.
It turned out to be a wonderful day for all. The overall winner took high score with his sub $400 Diana Outlaw, proving…. that FT is fun for everyone!
Thanks to all the guys that helped setup and tore it down. The rain modified range was challenging and just right- 48 shots, a little closer than normal with kz’s appropriate for most distances.
