We had four shooters come out, a bit chilly to start, and the winds were the most challenging of the year for us low powered shooters. I decided to try a new gun, shooting heavy pellets, a new scope, oh and a new to me shooting jacket, my FT excuses were limitless lol.......
Brad also decided to try a new rifle, a MK3 instead of a MK1, and unfortunately he has some equipment issues and had to DNF - Bill's scope took a dump and he also had to DNF.
Cliff made it out and took the top score. As our oldest FT shooter, I can only hope to still be able to compete at that level if I make it to his age, its really inspiring to me.
We have one last match, the TN State/Robert Shimizu Memorial match, November 8th, I hope you can make it out, and have some fun.
I have put on around 16 matches this year, and enjoyed every one of them, life gets in the way of shooting, so I understand folks can't make some of the matches, but I hope to see some of the old timers make it out next year, who knows, maybe we will have some fresh blood too?
God Bless
