FIELDTFIELD MATCH JUNE 2020
Ominous clouds and a strong chance of rain threatened to cancel the match, but as Brad pointed out, if we cancel it will be a bright sunny day, and as we had a 50/50 chance we went ahead!
Seven shooters braved the elements, and while it seemed very humid with little wind, the wind once more causes problems for pretty much all of us, that along with heavy clouds and dense foliage meant for a very dark course for us poor folk using huge magnification....
Danny Ayers won the last match at Roz's, and he decided to repeat it here, after six lanes he was clear right up until the off- hand lane, where he missed one, coming back up the Hill of Doom he told me he his score so far, I thought maybe he might beat the club record of 58/60, until lane one where the wind got him on the last target, unfortunately the very next lane, kneeling, caused another couple of losses, however he was still the winner of the match by a very decent margin, way to go Danny!
Hope the weather is good for the next match at Roz's in a couple of weeks!
