Roz is recovering from a hernia operation a couple of weeks ago. I talked with him tonight and he is doing nicely. Still, he will not be able to do any lifting or other heavy work for a while. Nor a whole lot of bending over. No work on the range for a few weeks. He did say that if enough people wanted to go down and help get the course ready, we could have a match provided the weather changes somewhat. The course will need to be cleared of limbs, the pine needles moved around and the strings straightened out. He didn't get to pull the strings prior to the operation. If several shooters go down, this shouldn't take too long. What we will be looking for is a Saturday with the temperature over 50 degrees and for the rain to hopefully ease up a little. We are going to be watching Mother Nature very closely in the next few weeks and hope to get a day in before going to Baton Rouge in late April. We will try to get started cleaning up around 7-8AM and then have a match. Either Cliff or I or both will let you know when that might be.
Hope to see you soon,
Pat
I know for a fact Roz eats nails for breakfast and leaps tall buildings with a single bound, so he's not gonna let a little hernia operation slow him down much. He's just faking recovery to get you other lazy bums to do a little work 'round yonder!
Give that guy my regards; and regards to you guys too. Hope to see you gentlemen at Cajuns.
