GOOD OLD BOYS MAY MATCH
The weather was good, very little wind boded well for higher scores, its a shame only seven shooters came out to play, Steve brought an interested friend out to see what it was all about, hopefully we will see him again.
Rod Bradley made a rare but welcome visit, and brought his new Anschutz 9015 heavily customized and very cool to look at – and as it turns out, it shoots as good as it looks! I was thrilled to get the score I ended up with, only to be left in the dust by Rod, heck, he left everyone in the dust!!! Not sure but that might be a new course record?
Jim Baumman also made an appearance, please note his score of 43, especially when you consider he is no longer able to shoot either the kneeling or standing courses anymore, so that immediately removes 12 points, so a 43 is a VERY good score, hope to see more of Jim this season.
Due to Memorial Weekend, the Invicta match is THIS SATURDAY, hopefully we get a good turnout, I should say, that to mow, clean, set the course takes longer than shooting the actual match, so please make the effort to come out and enjoy the courses, there is a good amount of sweat involved!
