We had our last match of the 2018 season and it was a good one, not that any field target match is bad a one. This his match was memorable for that fact we had 2 shoot offs more about that later.
The match was almost cancelled because of a Nor Easter due in on the weekend it was going to hit on Saturday for sure, but there was a change Sunday would be a washout as well but as the week progressed Sunday looked like it was going mostly a good day, so Tom and I decided to hold the match.
The gate for the range opens at 7:00AM I got there about 7:00 to finish the set up pull out the strings and check the target after the storm, Tom and Roel arrived and proceeded to set up the sight in range. The shooters started to arrive soon after and started sighting in.
The course I laid out was 11 lanes 3 targets per lane for a total of 66 shots Avg Dist. 35.58 and the difficulty was 33.21 I normally don’t use any targets with a kill zone small then ¾” but after experiences at the Nationals and Crosman I put a 3/8” and ½” targets on the course and will continue to use them in the future.
We had a total of 10 shooters and the results are as follows
OPEN PCP
Brian Van Liew - 57/66 / FX400FT / Nikko Diamond 10-50 / AA 10.3
WFTF PISTON
Leo Gonzales - 58/66 / Walther LGU / Sightron 10-50 / JSB 8.44
WFTF PCP
(1) John Eroh - 50/66 / FWB800 Basic / Sightron SIII 10-50 / .177 8.4
(2) Tom Holland - 50/66 / Steyr LG110 FT / Sightron SIII 10-50 / H&N FTT 8.64
(3) Mike Harris - 50/66 / Steyr LG100 / Sightron 10-50 / 8.4
HUNTER PISTON
(1) Michael Gracia - 42/66 / HW97KT / Hawke Airmax SF30 / Crosman 7.9
(2) Roel Jackson - 32/66 / AATX200 / UTG 4-16 / .22 14.3
(3) Joe Kruszon - 31/66 / AA TX200 HC / Optisan Viper 4-16 / AA 8.4
HUNTER PCP
(1) Tom Wade - 46/66 / AA EV2 / Hawke Airmax SF30 4-16 / AA8.4
(2) Vosyl Povroznyk - 46/66 / Zbrioa Kozak / Aztec 5.5-25 / JSB 10.3

There were 2 shoot offs
First was For WFTF PCP Tom, Mike and John Lined up and each shot and all 3 missed on the first round and all missed on the second round. The third round Tom hit Mike Missed and John Hit fourth round both Tom & John Hit Fifth Round Tom Missed and John Hit
Second was for Hunter PCP Myself and Vosyl we lined up both hit the target, and both hit the second target both missed the third target an the reshoot of the third target Vosyl missed and I hit.

Other details there was no cold lines and the weather was ideal.

Thanks to all the shooters that came through out the year and I hope to see you next year.

Tom, Ditto to what Kevin said. I enjoy reading all match reports whether I'm in them or not. Sorry I couldn't make a match on Long Island this year. Just had to much to do to get ready for winter which started much earlier that I expected.
