Tom don’t believe everything you see on the internet! Weather was really nice albeit a bit warm. In the 80s, sunny and a slight breeze.

DIFTA Match Report Sunday, August 28, 2021

Hot, humid, with very little wind BUT NO THUNDER STORMS!. The saving grace of DIFTA is that its always a few degrees cooler in the shade of the forest, which does however cut down on light.

We had a 72-shot match, with one offhand and one kneeling lane. The average difficulty of the course  was 29.72 T. All shooters lost points on the offhand and kneeling lanes.

Brian Van Liew took the match high score. Rex Gori, our only piston class shooter shot an enviable 51, as did Tom Strong and Mark Sivatko in WFTF. I don’t think we have ever had such close scores before. Richard Basset was our only WFTF shooter. Our match director invoked equipment malfunction to explain his miserable score.
