Howdy,airgunners its my pleasure to welcome all new interested future Field Target shooters yo our FT GAME!Many will never know but We owe the Brits for starting & developing an excellent outdoor shooting sport.For me,The British pioneers and legends like Ivan Hancock,Gerld Cardew and Dave Wellem,Richard North,John Bowkett and numerous other brilliant British Gentlemen who created something we can all enjoy.Some of us airgunners will never forget Ojai's Dennis O'Farety a WordSmith and airgunner who started his own airgun club called the Ojai's Condors.Dennis who wrote for AirGun World and NRA publications around the early mid-80's traveled to England and was invited to participate in a shooting FT game,where at that time 1" stickers would be placed on targets and changed out when targets became un-readable and NO strings yet.Anyway Dennis was so impressed with the game,that it inspired him to start his own FT airgun club in 1984 and he named them,the "Ojai Condors"They became America's first airgun FT club.Word got around on the west coast that by in end of 1985 CASA(California Airgun Shooters Assoc.)started shooting this great outdoor sportsman shooting game,to become America's second Oldest FT airgun club..tkx,OffHandHero
