That's too bad you can't make it but glad to hear you will attend in the future. Check this link for other area matches: https://www.bcsportsmen.org/ft/schedule.html
Also if anyone is on the fence considering the weather we will have pop up canopies covering most of the firing line so don't miss it.
It was rainy day and only those brave enough to get wet showed up in the morning. We though about canceling, but some people wanted to shoot. We had 6 brave souls shooting in the rain. It started fairly light but slowly increased in intensity. In addition to rain there was heavy wind. I think rain was helping reading the wind because you can see angle of droplets. Some people had opportunity to test rain gear and equipment readiness for rainy weather. Not everyone passed this test. Mr X had issues with his rifle and needs to replace all o-rings. He wanted for his true identity to be hidden to avoid embarrassment of lower score of the match.
We had one new shooter, Brian show up for what probably was the worst condition wise match. Despite heavy rain and heavy wind Brian managed to hit some impressive shots with his Gauntlet.
Extra challenging were positional lanes, as wind was rocking us so hard we were flopping like a sail.
Despite all bad weather it was a lot of fun. Everybody left with the smile on the face. We are looking forward to host another match next month.
Next FT match: 2019 June 2nd Sunday
