[Sticky] Boerne (TX) Field Target and Silhouette Match Results Sat. 8 Nov 2025

 

Shooting his first ever Field Target match was Alex H and his time observing and preparing over the last couple of months paid off with an excellent score.

Our 10meter Silhouette Event Continues to grow under the leadership of Scotty H and Glenn D.  The competition was held after Field Target and lunch starting at 1 pm on the 50 yard bench rest field and was shot in the shade as the Texas temperatures climbed a little over the day.  The facility allows ‘older’ people to shoot offhand while younger folks can shoot the same targets using the benchrest tables.  Most folks shot 10 meter rifles with peep sights or red dot while some used higher power air guns with scopes.

 

We decimated chickens, pigs, turkeys, and rams at 10, 15, 20, and 25 yards.  None of the little metal creatures were hurt and had almost as much fun as the people!  40 total points were possible.
