PHA will be hosting our Air Gun Field Target Match on August 28, 2021 the fourth Saturday of the month.
Sight-in will be at 8 am at the new air gun sight in range next to the .22 range. The safety meeting will start at 8:45 am, and then we will move to the Field Target range.
The course is set up for .177 caliber air guns. There are 15 lanes with 2 targets per lane, and 2 shots per target. Targets are randomly set between 10 and 50 yards. Hole kill sizes are between 3/8" and 1 1/2" depending on distance. There will be 2 shooters per lane. New shooters will be paired with experienced shooters to help and instruct them.
Fees are $10 for all shooters payable at check-in for the match. Please have exact amount.

August 28, 2021 PHA Field Target Match Results
We had 6 shooters show up for the match. It was warm with no breeze and stayed comfortable shooting in the shade. I would like to thank all the shooters that showed up to make this a successful match. We shot a 17 lane match 68 shots.
Just a note.
We have started to replace and upgrade all targets in preparation for the NC State Championships on October 23, 2021. Most of them have been done only a few more left to do.

You have to register for the NC State Championships on line. We need to know how many shooters in advance so we can have enough food.
