Saturday was the best day for shooting FT in quite sometime here in middle Tennessee. The weather was perfect. Warm, practically no wind and dry for a change.
We had 9 shooters with 2 in the WFTF and 7 in the Open classes. Ray Barnett came over from Savanah, TN and showed us all how to shoot the course. He scored a near perfect round with a score of 57/60 for tops overall by far and 1st in the Open Class. He missed only 1 shot in each of Lane #1, 6 and 10. Lane #6 was a miss at 45 yards, kneeling shot and Lane #10 was a tough small target at about 35-40 yards. Been a while since we saw as many X's on a score card here at the GOB.
Cliff Smith is back from Florida and Roz Sumpter is still recovering and doing very well after an operation a few weeks ago. Danny Ayers finished 1st in the WFTF class with a score of 50/60.
Roz is planning to have a match this coming Saturday to warm up for the Cajun's Classic at the end of the month in Baton Rouge. La. This will depend on the weather which is looking good for now. We will let everybody know around Thursday. Maybe we will get lucky again. Looks like we will have a good sized group going down to La.

Thanks for the report Pat -
And nice shooting, especially Ray!
Hope I can make this coming weekend, need to do the ft smack down on some unsuspecting targets.
A while back, my computer went down and I lost the ability to get on the Yahoo forum for the GOB's. Haven't been able to get it straightened out. I can read it, but can't post. Not a serious problem. I can probably change my e-mail name and password and get back on. Just have not done it yet. Kinda used to what I have been using. I did get all the e-mails this morning on my regular e-mail.
I did make an unintentional mistake on David's score. It should have been 46/60. All I can say is I'm sorry for the mistake. Maybe there is a conspiracy of sorts going on. Perhaps it is time for someone else to take on this job of reporting the scores. Maybe I should say task since the word job indicates there might be some monetary element involved.
Sorry for the problem. It won't happen again,
Pat
Don't know why the last sentence is in white. Some other problem caused by computers, I guess. Maybe it's just on mine.
Ray,
I like your way of thinking, but I'll have to see what Roz has to say about that. See whether he wants to go to Cracker Barrel or Krystal.
As for david, you really don't think that he would go through with that threat do you. (Whoops, there I go again)
He will forget all about that with the Cajun's and the next match at his place.
See you at the next one.
Pat
P.S. I will probably continue to make mistakes along the way.
