Remarks:
This was our second field target match for 2025. Despite the cold and windy weather windy, we had 15 shooters for the match. It felt colder than normal being under the canopy of the trees.

Course target painting and setup was done on Friday since Saturday we had heavy rains. Ground was still wet on Sunday morning.

After a brief safety meeting, we had people assigned squads and lanes. We had an odd number of people. So, we had one squad with three people and the rest had two person squads. We had two people shooting one at each lane and one scoring.

The wind blew mostly to the east on varying intensity. Holding outside the kill zone was needed on many shots at least for under 12 FPE rifles.

Scott tried shooting WFTF PCP with his convertible pistol-rifle.

I had my LGU shooting flatter trajectory than normal and my Sightron was ranging short by several yards at a known distance paper target. Despite the change of trajectory and range finding, the rifle shot spot on whatever the distance was determined on the side wheel. For example, the scope would range the 55-yard paper target at 51 yards and the rifle shot point on at 51-yard turret mark. Sometimes, the scope shift matches the rifle shift. This usually happens in colder and humid weather for my rifle. It may not work with another rifle and scope combo.

Continental breakfast was served before the match. Meatball and salad were served for lunch after the match.

Thank you for the people who helped clean up afterwards.
