2024 Nevada State FT Championships & AAFTA Grand Prix, June 7th, 8th & 9th in Battle Mountain at the famous Square 'M' Ranch at the mouth of Horse Canyon.

Save the date!

This will be the 10 year anniversary of this now 'historic' event.

More information; registration, match times, course layout, event directions and more to be added to this post shortly.

We are working on some additional enhancements to the event site and access on top of the expanded parking and camping areas that were installed last year.

Hope to see you at this scenic and challenging event!!

ARE YOU TOUGH ENOUGH??!!

-JW

How's the weather been there? Wondering if the Mormon crickets will out in the billions like they were couple years ago when I was there....

Thinking of bringing the Leshiy2 for some after-match bug sniping....

If only it could have been the next weekend. I could have shot the best, and worst GP in the nation, then rolled on into RMAC that Monday. Oh Well. I hope you guys have a great event, and maybe I'll make it next year.

@jim_the_beard

Same here. For the last two years I’ve been able to combine both matches into one long trip, with one day of down time. This year it would be two long trips spaced eight days apart. Over 3000 miles driving in total. I’m not really up for that. This will be only the 2nd Battle Mountain match that I will have missed. Match directors usually do what they can to avoid date conflicts, but some are unavoidable, so not complaining.

Jim & Scott, unfortunately the weekend after is Father's Day and that prohibits most fathers from participating in the match (I did a bit of asking around a few year back).  Same goes for three day weekends, participants with families are typically doing something distinctly different than air gun competitions...

Attaching the event registration and location map from Battle Mountain proper.  Note that we will have copies of the registration form that can be filled out at the event, no need to do anything but show up, fill out the form and pay the match fees (fees are $85, no increase from last year).

Same same ... I'm dragging out a new shooter with me to Nevada to keep attendance up and Shoot this wonderful venue !!

Yea the RMAC issue I'm dealing with myself as I've been asked to be a Team shooter.  If this pans out I too will have many miles driven in june as I not hanging out for 2 weeks between events.

Tough Enough for sure, managed 1st in WFTF Springer even..  Brought home the medal but not one of those trophies, maybe they were reserved for better shooters... Oh well, ce la vie!
