2024 April 4 Sunday FT Match Report

Temperature: 40-45 degrees F

Wind: 5-10 mph, Cloudy with variable shifting winds

10 lanes, 30 targets, 2 shots/target = 60 shots/points total shot near to far

Started 10 am, ended 12 noon & clean up finished by 12:10 pm

13-55 yards, mix of 1”, 1-1/2" and 40mm kill zones.

Average distance: 36.3 yards, Average KZ size: 1 1/2", Course Difficulty: 33.27T with wind factor (13 targets over 40 yards)

Alan, Leo & Pete helped Ron set up the course on Saturday morning. Ron laid out a more compact course with lanes 1-6 targets bunched up together increasing the likelihood of shooting the wrong target.

Wind was forecasted to come from the North. It varied in direction and strength between shots. Holding off the kill zone was necessary even on the medium range distances.

All targets had 1-½" kill zones except for one with 1” KZ.

Bob C will be attending the Cajun Classic next week, and we wish him good luck at the Grand Prix event in Baton Rouge.

Thanks to all that attended and helped clean up the course within 10 minutes.
