Jennifer, What's up with the registration report? A couple days ago my name was on it but tonight it is not showing I registered. Did you receive my Paypal payment I sent about a week ago? Alan "O" was first on the list and I was just below him. I don't see his name there this evening. Thanks, Bill

Bill,
I was trying to get the teams to filter down to just one row per team instead of having the duplicates for each person in the team as they registered and messed it all up. It should be all fixed now.
The registration is going to be capped at 120.
We also have a few local club members that have volunteered to give up their spots for out of town folks should we hit the limit. That way if there are last minute cancellations we can fill in easier since we will not have to make travel arrangements and things like that.
First of all I wanted to thank all the participants that shot in the 30th Cajuns. It was a great time and a learning experience for myself and the Bayou Airgun Club. There are a couple of things I wanted to mention about the upcoming 2019 U S Nationals. We have 71 shooters registered and will hold the registration at 120. I tried to get Americas Best motel to give us a block of rooms but do to the fact that LSU will be playing in town that weekend that decided not to. They probably will have a good room price but they will go fast. Whatever motel you select get booked early.
We have booked an authentic Cajun Catering company (Mr, Jimmy Babin) for the Nationals. He will be cooking on-site and is quite the character. His set-up is a full blown kitchen/serving trailer that he pulls with a Freightliner. His website is www.creativecajuncooking.com. Check him out.
See ya'll in Oct. "Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler" (Let the good times roll)
Has anyone been to the BR range to see if there is any damage from Hurricane Barry? Flooding? Trees down? We've seen the range in flood before (Cajuns 2016).
Not trying to be an alarmist. I'm just sensitive to this, since the Dallas FT Range sometimes floods when we get too much rain (currently under water, actually). There likely will be plenty of time to clear the range once any water recedes...

Barry was a glorified drizzle. Bayou Manchac did come up and is currently at 8.6 feet. When we get over 9 feet is when the water starts to come up on the range. The water goes down really quickly so we will have more than enough time to get everything ready for Nationals if that is what you are worried about. I haven't been out there yet but I would be shocked if there wasn't a tree or lots of limbs we have to clean up
For Cajuns in 2016 we were able to clean up the following week. Later that year when we had the really big flood where the water got over 12 feet we couldn't get to the range for months but that was because BREC wanted to inspect everything for safety first.

Nationals will be here sooner than you think, just 47 days! We have 98 currently registered and will cap at 120. If you are thinking about coming please get your registration in this week to be guaranteed a shirt in your size as I will be placing the order at the end of the week.
Registration is now open.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at jennifer.m.cooper@gmail.com or bayouairgun@gmail.com
After registering earlier and then having to withdraw due to a family conflict I’m now back in and even more excited about going to the Nationals than before. Amen!
Hoping to see Troy Landry from the show Swamp People, an alligator and some good ole Cajun folk and good cooking while there.
Getting to shoot is just a bonus. Can’t wait.
@rhawk
Well glad you are back in.
We can help you with the good food and good people part, and maybe an alligator (grounds crew saw a nice big one at the range while cutting the grass one day) . Troy Landry though, going to have to head down to Pierre Part for that one and maybe hang out at The Pierre Part Store for the day.
@jwylie
Thanks for the heads up. Might have to put off meeting the king of the swamp for another time. Never made it to Louisiana so just looking forward to seeing the sights and enjoy a great match. Always hear great things about the Cajun match and people there. Just glad to be getting to go.
The U S AAFTA FT Nationals is only two weeks away. We are almost at the 120 shooter cut off. Having said that, If we go over we and you are on the fence about coming, come on. You will be able to participate. Everyone talks about the food and we have an amazing "Cajun" caterer that will be on-site.
See ya'll soon !!!
Carey
Passing through Gallup NM right on now. Three of us (Vince, John, Scott) from California. ~18 hours to go. Chris and Jim are a few hours behind us but I don’t think they are shooting the pistol match on Friday.
Here is an Excel version and PDF of the final scores.
