Can't say enough about my NC, SC, VA, TN and other friends who made this possible. I'm not going to try to thank everyone in this post, but will certainly do so in the match report.
We took photos of each state's contingent holding their state flag and gifted the flag to the group. We have many photos to sort through of the shooting, events, and closing ceremony. We will get them posted asap.

It is always nice to get home after a long drive. After getting a decent nights rest and cleaning out the truck I'm looking forward to next year.
The crew at the Tar Heel National event did a awesome job hosting this years event. The Bayou club have their work cut out for them but from my 2011 visit down there all I can say is they have a awesome venue.
My hat is off to all this years Top guns in all classes! Enjoyed meeting and shooting both days with Gary Palinkas and Pat Callihan. Take Care Everyone and hope to see you all next year!
Thanks Bill.
Yes, Janice did and does a great job with photos. I should have mentioned that.
I have so many people to thank for making the event come off. The THACG members, the BOG, the sponsors, Janice Himes, Ginger Piatt, Twin City Rifle Club, the guys from Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio, etc who helped after the event to help clean up and move things around. It was a big effort.
I just wanted to thank everyone who attended this years Nationals. We at the THAGC put a lot of blood, sweat, & tears into this event. The fact that it seems that everyone enjoyed it for the most part, makes it all worth the effort. I wish I knew how to show just what this means to me. It was an honor to work with my talented THAGC friends & an honor to host this event for the rest of my FT brothers & sisters. I also would like everybody to know how instrumental Twin City Rifle Club(TCRC) was in making this happen. They were gracious enough to rent us the entire facility for three days. The TCRC board members showed a genuine interest in what we were doing. One board member really bought into our vision & that was Steve Brown. He was the guy taking pictures all weekend long. He's a really great guy & I truly appreciate all of his help & support. It was great meeting new people & seeing old friends. I got to shoot with an awesome group this weekend. I got to meet Greg & Pat Shirhall this weekend. Great people to hang out with & I enjoyed watching Greg shoot his springer. He's pretty good with it. I also shot with Nathan Thomas. I met Nathan briefly at the 2015 Nationals. Nathan is another great springer shooter & was fun to hang out with. I'd shoot with them anytime. I may have to find my way up to NY next year for a match. Also I have to give our other shooting partner a shout out. Jimmy Williams joined THAGC a couple of months ago. The White Course would not have been possible with out his help. Jimmy brought out his tractor & zero turn mower & cut out the White course. He also maintained it all year for us. Jimmy unfortunately only got to shoot with us on Saturday due to some health issues. Now is where I get to brag on Jimmy. The Nationals was Jimmy's first FT competition. He finished with an outstanding 42/60 on the White course. He told me that he had never shot kneeling. I explained how we shoot kneeling. He went 3 of 4 on the kneeling, missing the second far shot. Needless to say I went 1 of 4 on kneeling. Young Grasshopper took the pebble from my hand.. LOL!! So once again, thanks again for supporting the 2018 Nationals !!!!! Now let's get ready for some Cajun shooting !!! I'm looking forward to going down to Baton Rouge twice next year. Great people, great food, & great shooting !!! Bayou Club if THAGC can help you in any way, just give us a shout !!!
He tested his rifle and it was shooting 12.5ft pounds after the end of the first day and wouldn't settle back down below that. It had passed the official check Friday with no issues. That says much about Brad as a person and ambassador of the sport.

It was my first, but definitely not last, Nationals. It was an awesome experience thanks to the hard work of sooo many. It takes a huge amount of work to get something like this done and like Bill states, I can’t wait for the Bayou Boys event next year.
It it was an honor shooting with Bill and Pat for both days. I learned a lot from them both and we all traded “secrets” that hopefully make us better shooters.
