I'm new to BR so need a bit of help. I'm setting up a BR course at my house and have ordered the rifle, F/R rests, scope, etc and now I need a bench. Would like to get something that mirrors competition benches to the extent possible as far as height, surface area, whatever. Would prefer a bench/seat in one package if that's possible. Anyway, any help/advice appreciated.

Cheers, Rod

i recommend forming up and pouring a top, use blocks for legs, keep seat separate and use a stool.

I built one like this, but what you  build to practice from is almost irrelevant, as every where I’ve been to shoot the benches supplied are all different, I’ve never seen the same shooting bench used from club to club.  So don’t get to comfortable you’ll need to be able to adapt to whatever they have. One key is your seat, many of us use a drummer seat, which offer stability and height adjustable.
