Donnie's (baker's Airguns)post on the new Air Venturi Avenger is going to spark a lot of internet searches (really good review) as it did with me. Townsend Whelen is credited with the quote ""Only accurate rifles are interesting". Well Mr. Townsend this is a very interesting rifle. Which brings me to the point of this post (rant) about uninformed information"not having or showing awareness or understanding of the facts" being published.

@.21 Rossi is not sure who he is interviewing and 1.24 well "I fill neither one of these gentleman should be representing air guns to the public".

Yeah, that is a great Air Venturi Representant first he says this is is M1A rifle with a spring system, and a few senteces later, when he cocks it, he says there is no spring in it, so what is it now?????.
I know it is a spring piston air rifle. Did he maybe mean that there is no return spring for the cocking lever????
I don't know what he means there.

It is all about hype .. substance no longer matters in the current marketing of airguns. M1A is a WW1 gun .. didn't everyone know that .. ? ?
He said there's no spring it- they can't do that for the show. Safety move so no one handling the rifle could pinch or beartrap themselves. I agree the overall presentation needed work, but the spring part makes sense.
