Looking for a Bell Target made by SteelPlinkers.  Any leads appreciated!  Have a new group of 10M shooters and would like to get a bell target match going!

Arnold,

I have one in Kit form that has never been welded up. Email me.

David,  I'd be interested in the parts you mention.  Really like the design of the SteelPlinkers target.  Sad for the airgun community to have SteelPlinkers stop making targets.

I wrote up an article on bell target for Hard Air Magazine a couple of years ago. I suggest that you read it before you buy. You can make your own pretty easily. Please pay attention to the lead splatter issue!!! It needs to be contained, and in any "public" facility, clean-up will need to be addressed.

There are two bell target build plans in the forum library for the intrepid DIY types.

Ronnie Easton in Sacramento made this target up a couple years ago. The operating system is basically a service bell with a door hinge and a steel plate. The pellet strikes the plate, the hinge hits the service bell. He had a 1/2” hole drilled in the large plate (red) and I put the electrical box cover on it and made some circles using a hole saw attachment on my drill...Works very well.

I made a youTube video:

Well, not as pretty or "precisionish" as the versions above, but here is my attempt at building a bell target using an old fire bell and a .25" plate of steel. As mentioned earlier, when you hit through the .25"/.25 caliber hole you get rewarded with a LOUD and resonating, "DING!"
