I bought a set of Sportsmatch height adjustable dovetail rings for my FX Streamline .22.  I got it zero’d but my scope is maxed out as in not one more click, on the windage to the right.

This bugs me, would it bug you?  Should I have gotten the fully adjustable mounts at 2x the price?

Got it figured out.  Scope was not out of adjustment.  It had a little ring to lock the adjustment that prevented it from going further.

To be or not to be, optically centered that is. That sounds like maybe a UTG or Centerpoint scope? Neither one of those two are good to have the turrets maxed out especially in the all the way up or all the way right position. Glad you found the turret lock lol

Yep-UTG.  Other than a Burris (Posi lock) never had locking turrets.  I guess they’re not a bad idea if you remember to unlock and re-lock them each time.

I just bought a Sportsmatch adjustable mount, and I ordered it from the UK, because even after shipping from the UK to the US, it was cheaper...!  ?

The one you refer to as "2 x the price" -- the ATP66 sells at AOA, PA, and others for $150 plus shipping (up to 163 + SH).

From the UK: $107 + $13 Shipping to the US

The ATP61 (what you probably have) should be around $60, but all the sellers that had that price were OUT..., and those who still had it sold it for $95.... (is there something wrong with that picture?).

From the UK: $60 + $18 Shipping to the US

The UK seller with those prices is Michael Tawn, here:

Hope this helps someone else to get stuff at reasonable prices....

Just purchased a set of fully adjustable rings (ATP66) from Michael Tawn priced as above.  Shipped same day. Just mounted them.  Very well made and easy to adjust rather than using shims.

I'm glad you worked it out.  I definitely prefer to be as close to optically centered as possible.  Mostly, I use Burris Signature rings with the inserts but it's a bit of a pain to switch out the inserts when sighting in a new scope.

Of note, a few other tricks are switching the rings from front to back and turning the rings 180 degrees (front only, back only, and front and back).  I'll try just about all configurations before I start adjusting the scope but that's just me.
