Anyone here use one of these? I bought one and finally got to using it and I find that it needs improvement. It tends to roll around against the body and I often find it backwards. And the snap is hard to align and close without looking at it, would be nice to have a magnetic closure. I've read that it was supposed to come with a belt clip of some sort but this one didn't.
I don't like the cord that came with it, much to thin and stretchy, would rather have a strap of some sort.
I'm wondering if anyone has made some changes to their Wilkins pouch.
Uncle Mikes had very good belt pouches (pellet and .22rf) with velcro closure but they discontinued them. Great for off hand which is my favorite type of shooting. Good for bench bots too. You can just lay it on the table. Crosman sold a version (maybe they still do)but it's not as good. I stashed about 6 Uncle Mikes.
The best:

I have all the others. They are sitting on the shelf.
Looks like someone reintroduced the deluxe beeman pellet pouch @ $80. The best pellet pouch on the market? Maybe. Until someone re-introduces the Airgun Gear pouch for 1/3 the cost.

@hkshooter this is what I did.
Got rid of the clip, used an old genade pull ring, hooked up a belt loop.
I bought this:

And this:

And made this:
But it has a fatal flaw for hunting, it takes two hands. The search continues.
Now I want one like Sonny's
I bought my Wilkins Pouch from JimW at a swap meet 10-12 years ago and I use it almost exclusively.
A few years ago at another meet I bought this pouch sold by Beeman in Huntington Beach.
It mounts on your belt or you can use a neck strap.
It has a strong spring mechanism to keep it open or closed.
Leather with a stiff plastic, lead dust free, liner..
@rockdoc65 I have several of those Amazon leather squeeze coin purses for pellet pouches... I have some in different colors, and use various colors of paracord for the neck cord.
I like having different pouches for different pellets and different airguns...
I use Avery metal rimmed key ring tags (1.25" diameter) on the cord where I write in pencil the pellet name on one side and the airgun on the other side.
I normally do not need to use two hands... just one hand and two fingers down into the squeeze slot to grab a pellet.
I think these are great pellet pouches and inexpensive... that's why I have so many !
I do have an original Beeman pouch and Marksman pouch, but I prefer the squeeze coin pouches.
I normally do not need to use two hands... just one hand and two fingers down into the squeeze slot to grab a pellet.
Maybe I just need to practice more.

We'll see how it works. Pretty, and also pretty cheap.

Here's One I bought from Amazon
$9.90
Leather, goes on your belt, and has a magnetic flap.
My pouches are lube proof rectangular coin purses with metal top frame terminating with 2 spheres that snap shut when pushed past their centerlines. It never spills, never leaks oil on your shirt like leather does, opens with one hand, never flips over when walking and moving.
Cost $4.99 I have several Shoelace to tiny Zip ties around the metal frame hinge areas. Simple and the best.
