Anyone satisfied or dissatisfied  with this rifle.  I am waiting for a .25 version.  I have a feeling it is going to be a long, long wait.

Thanks,

Carlos

Hey Carlos,

I diddnt totaly write off umarex  after there gauntlet relese debacle, but I think more than a few did.

I think the reason you dont hear more about the gauntlet anywhere is that umarex pissed alot of people off, alot of people that could or would pony up money to pre order guns feel betrayed or abused by said company and there hype machine. I think others see that too and arnt buying either.

Tru they did deliver on a great rifle no doubt, but they were soooo hyped for sales and then nothing- hurry up and wait.

I know that I love the rifle I receved ( THX P.M.A. .22cal)

It is accurate and has a fairly adjustable stock, the regulator works well and keeps a good shot count.

Its not pellet fussy at all and it sells for 300$ I think that is the second part, some just dont beleve that it can deliver that kind of performance for that price. Most of the big reviewers on utube kinda laughed at it as well.

I think the .25 is gonna be bad A@# and I think that if its anything as good as the first 2 calibers you will LOVE IT!                   Like I said I love mine!

I love mine as well,

Not a bad gun, needs a little refining but overall it's a good gun. I've tuned three of them so far and have had good results.

Shot two groups this morning with a customers gun in .177 and it shot 10 shots .5" at 25 and under 1" at 55yards in FT position. Not bad at all!

If the .25 barrel is good and I have no doubt that the gun will be as well.

I'll stick with my reliable accurate 850 HPA .177 and Dominator HPA .22....of which the Gauntlet is a copy...

I've got to tell you that I am very impressed with my .177 Gauntlet from Pyramyd Air. I have not had the time to thoroughly wring it out but it's very good for a sub $300 gun. I just had time to mount my trusty Hawke 6-24 scope on it and loan it to a friend for a FT match that I was not able to attend. We set it up, shot it over a few ranges and generally practiced for only an hour or two. My friend, a military veteran shooter,  has just started in airguns and has been shooting a Diana 54 the last few times we shot together, including 1 FT match.  This was his first time shooting a pcp in FT and he finished 2nd out of 12 shooters. Not bad for a new gun and a new shooter. Obviously, the gun performed very well for him even though I haven't even had a chance to refine the trigger or do any other work on the rifle.

He managed to beat out some other very good shooters with high end equipment.

Here is the link to the results of the match:

Just my 2cents

I have heard the .25 will be regulated at 1900 psi.  It should have power.

Carlos you will not be dissapointed with the Gauntlet. Purchased mine last November and it surpassed all my expectations except one. My .177 was too loud for backyard shooting which is where I shoot.  I did some mods to quiet the gun and it is perfect. The accuracy is there, great shot count, regulated and not too pellet picky. It has set a  standard that is hard to beat for the $300 pcp.

Your friend finished second, just behind a veteran shooter, who was using a Thomas? Good grief, Umarex should seek him out and give him a freeby!

I have had my .22 Gauntlet since last Dec and I think that it is hard to beat for $242.00. It's very accurate, large shot count, great adjustable stock and easily modified to ones liking.

I have a one coming and I plan on playing around with some modifications right off the bat! Shot one at a couple of Demos and it seems to shoot very well for a sub $300 PCP.

The Gauntlet kicks butt. THE BEST $300 PCP because it's regulated and it has the biggest tank. Plus no other gun has Haji Moto Productions with all that great info on how to maintain and upgrade it.

You can also get the bigger tank too. at www.Airtanksforsale.com

Plus its just $239 now.  https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/31721/UMAREX+GAUNLET+PCP+.22+PELLET

Happy shooting! -Nate @ Youtube's Airgun Channel
