Are you guys familiar with Air Venturi? They have a scope line called the Mantis. Would you buy it or pass on their products?
any advice I am getting close to narrowing down a scope looking for some feedback?

It looks like Pyramyd Air sells them... there are some reviews there too.
All my scopes are cheap...from $30 - $250 and I have not been burned yet. One Barska scope the turret fell off but that was a loose screw. They all served their purpose...Mantis has a 4x12 AO may be worth looking at. $89.
Air Venturi has established themselves as a company that's curated a lineup of good value products, at commodity prices, with mass appeal. I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just an honest assessment. I have no first hand knowledge of their scopes, but if they're in line with the rest of the products they offer, a Mantis would serve you just fine.
Let's take a step back though; Reading this and your other scope post suggests you might be fairly new to the airgun scope market? We might be able to better help if you mention any specific features you like, other optics you own or have experience behind, and what type of shooting you plan to do once you get your Chief and scope?
