Vortek tune kit was installed by AofA on a new gun and it chronys 725-735fps with 7.0gr per their chrony test string. Couple of the strings spiked upwards of 830fps but I think it must have been due to dieseling. A Beeman (Williams?) peep sight is also installed and zeroed to the gun.

Cocking is butter smooth near effortless and it appears to be the hottest shooting HW30(S)/R7 in 177 I have owned to date and I have owned roughly six of them and the majority were tuned. I am probably going to install a scope after break in and getting used to the peep sights which seems useable out to 25 yards and took a couple of plinking shots and the sights were dead on.

Nice! 725-735fps?? Lol, that's cookin' pretty good for the little HW! In comparison, my factory stock HW30S is doing 635fps with the 7.33gr AA Falcons. It has almost no spring noise/vibration and with an ES of only 6fps it's so stable I don't have any desire to mess with it, lol.

I'm not really into having duplicates but if I were the 30S and 50S are the only ones (so far, lol) I wouldn't mind having duplicates of. And if I did I'd set one of each up just like your "new" 30S, with peeps.

Enjoy the 30S, HA. That is if you can find the time what with all the others you've been "adopting". LOL
