Last I was told they were sitting on 85 and no .20's

That was after I asked if I could cherry pick if I were to purchase one.

After looking, they don't appear to have that goofy looking cut out on the bottom of the rifle butt, but I have absolutely no use for sling studs and for me, just screws up what would have been a nice walnut stock.

That's the nicest stock I've ever seen from Weirdrock.

Who told them to install sling swivels? All the barrel clamp will do is scratch the barrel 😐

WEIRDROCK! 😀

Edited screen shot from AOA's site.

Is it a special edition just for them? It has their logo laser-engraved under the grip.

I like the looks of that, but I still can’t warm up to the gold etching billboard signs on them.  At least the stamped letters blended with the blueing a bit.

Jason, I'm with you on the topic of "Big Labelling" as I call it. I once asked a car dealer how much he was going to pay me per month to advertise his dealership on my car (pointing at the dealer sticker on the rear hatch.) He didn't think I was funny so I told him to take it off, wouldn't sign until he did.

I've had some luck with chemical bluing compounds at subduing "Big Labels." In fairness, in my case is was laser etching, whereas this looks like some type of "gold" anodizing. It may still work though. Good cold-bluing compounds, like Oxpho-blue, have some ability to "cut through" certain surface treatments. Maybe it would work on this.

I'm seriously considering one of these. I need one like a second nose but when has it ever been about need. My daughters like shooting with me but they have a little trouble cocking the R9. This would be perfect.

I bet most of them are plain but still a nice stock with decent checkers. For a (an overdue) change.

UK forum guys are slack jawed. Some recently ordered the newly released CS UK HW30 stock and it doesn't hold a candle to the new HW30.

Biggest thing stopping me is I have 3 R7 an HW30, two very nice walnut blanks, and a pattern to duplicate. Making my own stocks. I know I don't have to wait and see if the Easter Bunny leaves a nice piece of walnut in my basket. They won't have sling mounts.
