It's shipping! Who will be the one to install it and do a full review?

That looks great. Adjustable power. Others I've seen don't allow that.  That's what Theoben did but owners of the original powerplants went power crazy and tried to get superpower from their guns. Then complained to Theoben when they failed. Let's see if that happens with these. I own one of the early Theobens. Sirocco Deluxe. A pre HEI ram it has always performed flawlessly. Smooth as silk cocking. Usable power and very nice firing cycle. And the best trigger mechanism they ever had. The Webley Omega type triggers really are great. Must have had had issue with Webley? All the trigger complaint came afterwards.

Don't over pressurize it and I'm sure it will be real nice. Probably rebuildable.++

The translations in the description have that "China ring"to them . I'm not going to be surprised if it's made there. I'd like to get one in my shop and make my own!

PLease show it when it arrives. They have them for other makes as well!

Thank you

@faucetguyNot that interesting at the gta

I am the one that bought and installed the kit.

It wasn't as advertised.  It was over pressurized taking almost double the cocking force as a stock HW30 to cock while providing .3 ftlbs over a stock gun.

I wasn't looking for power but did expect at least what the vendor claimed.  It was a total failure for me,

54lbs to cock it measured on a bathroom scale. I get 8.4ftlbs with the stock spring and a very sedate cocking force

8.7 ftlbs with the cfl kit and 54lbs of cocking force.

It had a nice firing cycle for a gun that was producing 20ftlbs but at 8.7 it was dissapointing.

I got one and installed it in my wifes 22 caliber HW 30. I had installed a PG2 kit in it years ago and I had it operating very well but I thought I'd try something new. I followed the instructions and things went rather smoothly. The cocking stroke was extremely smooth and the shot cycle was surprisingly almost non existent. My chrony numbers were low compared to the PG2 but I figured the piston seal was new and needed to break in . After about 200 shots I ran them over the chrony again and they were about 10 - 15 fps slower than the PG2. I tore the rifle down and removed the piston and again followed the instructions. Unfortunately the only thing I have in a hand pump is the Chinese model from Ebay. I hooked it up and tried to watch the gauge and added a few stroke over the current fill. I reassembled the rifle and tested . I could tell the cocking weight had increased but not quite the effort of a HW50. The firing cycle is still almost non existent. The fps has increased now higher than the PG2 kit and Im happy with it.

Field target trophy 14.66 gr             Field target Trophy tin 9.57gr            Pred G.T.O 11.75 gr

      PG2            490 fps                                                                                             570 fps

      CFL            485 fps                                               585 fps                                    540 fps

     CFL +         500 fps                                               640 fps                                    600 fps

John, sounds like a winner to me.  Thanks for your report.  It seems most people like it.  Did you need a spring compressor?

Does it weigh more or less than what was in there?

i hope Tom makes one for the HW95/R9 next!

I rarely use a spring compressor but for any gas ram one is needed. I have my PG2 kit and piston together in a bag and I can weigh them and ask Tom what the weight of the CFL is. I'm happy with the way its performing now and I don't want to tear it down again.

I probably shouldn't say anything but, the HW95 is next and under way.
