Good video, Mike. Good looking gun, too. When you cocked it, it sounded like it has some spring crunch going on (rough spring ends?). Not sure about the recent Diana's but they used to come from the factory pretty dry in the lube department. Might be a good idea to check that it is well lubed before doing any shooting. Wouldn't want to ruin it by having it start to gall things.
Congrats! Looks like a nice one. Hope you find time to enjoy it!

Yes she sounded a bit dry
It is irritating when you think about someone spending 430.00 on a rifle and a few dollars worth of time & lube are lacking that much on a new gun.. ridiculous .
I had a couple airgunners say the same, I heard it but did not say anything, I was saving that for the update vid down the road .
Cool video , Mike. Have one of the few (35) 430s in .20 cal. Mine is the Stutzen model and I do like the classy German stock, matter of taste, I guess. So far haven't touched internals though she needs it as I can hear the typical new Diana screeching noise when cocking. The only thing done when received was a thorough barrel cleaning and it was dirty as heck. Have shot it very little with JSBs and makes good groups at 25 yds. Look forward to your performance figures so I can compare with mine and also any mods you carry out so I can duplicate, not much of a tinkerer with springers myself so I'll follow your lead. Carry on............................
Thanks for the positive input
I have so much on my plate and little time left over for me to get to my airguns, with current projects on going I dont want to put other things in front of them till I get em done then go to what was next in line.
So not sure when I can get into the 340 but its on the list
