As has been said: Chinese import B3 springer. "Common" might be an understatement. Multiple sellers on eBay. Baling wire optional.

First two photos have been reversed, like a mirror image. If you use some photo software to "flip" the photos you'll see that the script says "Anthony".
Ah the b3 thumb grabber
Came off a Cummins Tool Truck and been in my brother in laws family all that time. Great nephew showed up with is asking could it be fixed, said yeah I think I can. My niece saw it and asked wth did you get that, it's dad's and we thought it was lost. Yeah, now I know it's getting rebuilt, did and handed back to him.
Did anybody actually ever get bear trapped by one of these or an Asian sidelever? Or any make?
90% cut off the tip of my little finger with a Webley Osprey (side leaver) that had a malfunctioning anti-bear trrap. Tip dangled..but still had circulation, they sewed it back on and it took….I just can’t flex that last joint.
BUT...it was all my fault any way.
1. Cheap gun case was frayed...strings of crap had disabled the anti-trip system. MY fault for not checking and my fault for trusting a mechanical safety feature.
2. Broke the golden-springer-rule and didn’t hold the cocking arm back to load….let loose of it to load the tap (they were tap loaders).
3. SAFER way (for a tap loader) was to NOT load it until after you did the whole cocking cycle...my fault for not doing that.
4. Obvious had my finger where it shouldn’t have been.
Yeah, I don't understand why you didn't return the lever first. But you probably asked yourself the same question many times.
Us humans are dumb like that sometimes. ?
I did have a close call, got out in the nick of time. Back in the day had no bear trap knowledge. There was a youngster in the neighbor hood who wasn't so lucky. Almost lost his thumb, badly mangled according to my son. I later asked the kid what ever happened to the rifle and all I got was a over the shoulder nasty look. I think dad probably disposed of it.
@steve-in-nc
?
But you can understand my hesitance to stick the same finger into a gaping mouth (side lever/under leaver).
