3000 psi is not the same as 300 bar.   Be careful with your terminology as it can get someone hurt.  Aside from that, i would have to agree that gunhas some issues.    Perhaps the reg needs to settle in a bit, or perhaps its just a crap reg.

I believe that the gauge on factory regulated Benjamin rifles read the reservoir pressure, not the regulated pressure.

From what I saw, the regulator might be fine. Also, testing only one pellet type in a new air rifle is not necessarily a good measure of accuracy.

Right, but my point was he said the gun was to be filled to 300 bar and referenced bar while talking about the gauge on the gun incorrectly.

And yes, of course one would want to try different pellets, but assuming he can actually shoot, the gun should have done better at 35 yards with JSBs than what was displayed.    Maybe reg, maybe clipping a baffle...without running a string over the chrony, hard to tell

I took the baffle out and the end cap and it was still shooting all over the place. I think it says on the side of the gun the maximum pressure. Let me check that. I wish you could edit a video once it was on YouTube. If I have to repost it then that would be lame. But not as lame as when I shot that gun after waiting 6 months to get it. It was a very depressing week making that video. I was pretty sad about the gun's performance. I expected it to be super good because it had a regulator.

I do need to probably cancel this video tomorrow and re-post another one with a correction on the fill pressure. I assumed it was bar and not 1000 times psi. So I will do that tomorrow. I will also try some other pellets. Now I feel bad about being so mean to the fortitude. I will redo that video and repost it tomorrow. Thank you for pointing that out about the PSI. Good call

Maybe resizing the pellets before shooting them wasn't a good idea. I would have removed the bolt, and pushed some some pellets through the barrel by hand to check the fit of the pellets, and to see if there's a tight spot that's resizing the pellets.  HTH

...and it's generally not a great idea to use a push-through because it sizes the skirt the same as the head.  The skirts should be a few thousandths larger.

Also, when installing a level, it needs to be oriented to the reticle (after having oriented the reticle to the muzzle).  A level which attaches to the scope rail might accidentally get close enough to be better than nothing at all but it really isn't a proper solution.  One which attaches to the scope tube is much better because it can be oriented as needed.

Oh, and thanks for the product review and perspective.  Based on the various reviews I've seen so far, it looks like Crosman is up to the usual highly variable quality control.  The Crosman lottery...the prizes change but the game remains the same.

Depending on the size of your pellet sizer. I'd bought one the same size as the pellet head and it shot horrible so your point is well taken. I stopped sizing pellets after that and have had not purchased the larger size. Could definitely tell the difference putting them in a break barrel, they just fell in the barrel with no seal feel.

As mentioned Nate, thanks for the reviews and try it without the sized pellets. I'd invest in a chrony too.

Cool. I need to try some pellet "sorting" like with the roll method too. Maybe stop sizing. I wish I could afford a laboratory grade jewelry scale but I can't pay $200 to weigh my pellets. The $50 scales don't cut it. I also need to wash my pellets (and lube them maybe?)

I have to learn how to use my chrony...maybe today will be the day.

Thanks for watching! -Nate

My videos take 20+ hours to edit. If I had to pay someone to edit for me I would have no money to eat. As it is...this is a typical week for me. I just sent $1230 today through PayPal to buy an Airgun...and I have $8 left in my bank account. I don’t know where my rent will come from...but I’m not worried.

Good call on the proof reading thing. What would I do without you guys watching my back? Seriously though.. I appreciate you pointing out where I need improvement.

My brother in law is a high powered video graphics guy...who knows what the future holds. Right now though the best my viewers can hope for is I might get a microphone soon...and I have to learn how to use my chrony. ...baby steps.

P.S. I fixed the Redemtion pic.
