I've ben developing scope mounts for Theoben air rifles. I am one of many collectors of these fine well made air rifles who desire to use modern scopes with 30mm tubes. and as you may know the Theoben rifles had its own unique scope base that used a bolted on mount specifically manufactured for it. they were only available in 1" tube size. these mounts will be available in both 30mm and 1-inch tube size, in a 1 piece and 2 piece ring version. the 2 piece rings will fit the older rail that has the keyway notch. These mounts are not 'dampa-mounts' they are intended for use with scopes that are rated for piston powered airguns. The 'Dampa-Mount' was a great idea for scopes of its time but is not necessary for todays scopes, so I set out to develop a line of scope mounts that will give us more scoping options, these will soon be available in the UK. and USA. they will also fit Beeman rifles manufactured by Theoben. Always thought the earlier Theoben rings to be a bit ungainly. Considered milling the bottom of other rings to fit but never did. Never been a total fanboy for everything they did. My idea is to use polished steel rings. I've had to limit my shop time last few years. A lot on my plate.
