Received a box of JSB tins ALL TINS DAMAGED it is unbelievable how smashed these are.

I have NEVER EVER gotten anything like this before, not even from AMAZON.

They were in a USPS Priority Mail flat rate box with absolutely NO PADDING nor any

crumpled newspaper AT ALL just tins of pellets and in fact one opened and the box tore and pellets leaked out too.

Bought it from a seller named Brad Shum*ker

and he won't help nor file a claim through usps for damages for unuseable pellets.

I don't even know if he insured them.

I told him I want to send it back if he won't do a damage claim and he refused and told me he sent brand new tins pellets and sent photo but he does acknowledge there was no padding AT ALL inside and he told me the postal clerk suggested not to add padding to that box and

he told me NO REFUNDS. Gave me a sad story he just lost 4K worth of ammo that was stolen.

Again absolutely NO PADDING just pellet tins inside a box that got totally smashed and mangled up.

Would shipping pellet tins through UPS or FED EX have prevented this if they were sent in a box with NO PADDING?

The guy is currently looking for Natalie Holloway BTW... REALLY!

HELP

Priority mail is automatically insured or $50.00

The only problem there is that the SELLER is the one insured, and he has to file the claim.

Did you buy them off eBay?

Not from Ebay, private seller whom I had informed about the poorly lack of padding in the box who refuses to go through the trouble to file a measly $50 claim who also to told me (BELIEVE IT OR NOT)) to chalk it up to a lesson learned. What lesson did I learn besides to not trust this seller after this transaction where I got screwed?  I bought a high end PCP rifle and pellets from this person before a couple of years ago  and they were packed very well, IDK what is up this time?

I paid him $220.00 for these damaged JSB 25 caliber pellets!

IDK if I would be less upset about it if I had gotten SCAMMED and not had received anything but these pellet tins are so badly smashed up it is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Also, a Flat Rate Priority padded envelope uses the same postage as the small box, but the box will easily fit inside the envelope (actually you can fit two).  So for no added cost or loss of capacity, you can add some protection for the box (besides being padded, the envelope is tough, water resistant, and, like the box, free).

You're not even technically breaking the USPS rule about improperly using free priority packaging for "dunnage" because both (inside) box and (outside) envelope are going Priority!

Well, ultimately, that's what the BOI is for:   https://airgunwarriors.com/community/board-of-inquiry/

The seller is out of the country and will give him some time to return to make it right (OR NOT).

Then post a GOOD BOI (OR NOT).

Thanks

The only way to buy pellets is on ebay and pay with paypal.

If you compare the different sellers you can get good deals.

And you never have to worry about getting your money back.

My rule. Never ever buy pellets from Amazon, Ebay or an indivdual by mail delivery. IT's Pyramyd Air  or other air gun vendors. I to learned the hard way.

Straight Shooters has a decent selection of pellets... ordered from them several times, and no problems.

It really doesn't take a genius to figure out how to pack anything for shipping to reduce any chance of damage... of course there are a lot of morons out there.
