The .22 caliber Diana Chaser Rifle kit is a great value. It's accurate with 1/2 inch 10 shot groups at 25 yards with JSB Exact 18 grain pellets. (…not 35 yards) This video covers unboxing, cleaning, barrel removal and installation of the rifle barrel, as well as some bonus R&D on the included moderator. Thanks for watching! -Nate
Here is Part 1 of my Diana Chaser Rifle Kit Review:

I concur, the Chaser rifle kit is a real bargain. Mine is .177, and I love it. Folks should be aware, the moderator is technically NOT supposed to be removable from the rifle length barrel. But it can be removed and made interchangeable if you are careful with some leather protection with the barrel in a bench vice, and a rubber strap wrench on the moderator. Go slowly, and don't force it, but it will come off. A little acetone on a qtip will clean the threads and make it truly interchangeable. Shoulder stock, pistol barrel and moderator make for one very handy, extremely quiet backyard pester.
I just ordered mine cant wait to start shooting it as my 2400kt no longer groups worth a dang
Couple things. These are a GREAT value! I currently own 4 different variations on the same Snowpeak platform. They all can benefit from a very slight dressing of the leade. The barrel is easy to remove. Then take the o-ring out of the breech end, and ever-so-slightly ease the edge behind the o-ring. Doesn't take much. In fact you should probably do it by hand with a cone of emery paper. Without this simple trick, wadcutters are hard to chamber, and even some domes will get shaved a bit. And while you have the barrel off, CLEAN it! Much manufacturing filth will come out. And if you are interested in gas mileage, the AoA hammer debounce device will give you 30-35% more shots per cart with no loss of MV. The latest Diana versions come with a really nice 2 stage trigger.
I think you're gonna like it. Keep us posted!
Yeah i hear ya! This isnt my first air rifle . The first thing i do is break down and clean every arm i purchase. I miss shooting air guns. My 2400kt use to group dime size holes at 20 yards. I took plenty of rats out with that thing. My 2300 is just to loud to shoot in the back yard. I would love to get a new barrel for my 2400 but crosman has been out of stock for the past 3 years lol
Hi guys,
Soon to be Diana chaser (.22 cal) owner here.
Couple of questions:
Cleaning barrel... what bore tool/size is needed?
Ammo ... lots of choices .. a few of the videos showed H&N dome either lead or copper around 14 grams.
What do you recommend to start for basic target / plinking and the occassional squirrel ?
Any other recommend tips?
