A while back I asked for advice on acquiring one. Thanks sooo much for all your help. I love this forum, it always comes thru. Such great guys.
Only shot it a few times now and I'm really impressed with the Giss recoilless system. I wish some mfg would make a affordable Whiscombe clone for 12 ft/lb or more. I for sure would buy one.

Hey Don,
They already make one. And, it produces a lot more than 12 ft/lb. But, now it's called a PCP. Lol.
Sorry, couldn't resist. I know what you mean. I think the Giss system is an engineering marvel, too. I'm glad you found what you were looking for.
take the grip off because this trigger can be setup without cocking the pistol
you just reset the hook and adjust the screws
remember the front screw is just a locking screw
the back screw has the main screw and a center screw
the center screw puts pressure on the spring that the ball sits on and it is for fine tuning and quit frankly your finger will have a hard time felling the changes but it is there twist on it
now back to the larger part of the screw, if you screw it in to far the hook will not disengage and this is WAY easier to do with the grip off
you can only get what it gives you, i have stared at that trigger setup to try to improve and found no way to improve it
the only way to lighten the trigger would be a smaller wire trigger spring but it is a complicated spring and found no way to do it
oh i try with some piano wire but piano wire and me don't get along
so do yourself a favor and take the grip frame off and adjust the trigger
and i do own a few of these, ok more then a few
best advice i can give to you or anyone
