So just a simple question here. Theres a Texan SS for sale on the American airguns classifieds. No caliber stated. After two emails the guy answered that its a .177. I didnt think Airforce made a Texan, let alone an SS, below 0.25. Does this sound off?

It does sound off. Unless this person has modified a Texan to be a dedicated .172 slug gun akin to the 17 HMAir that Tofaz built... which I highly doubt.
