I need to know the correct size and material for the o-ring on the piercing cap.  I'm currently using a standard buna n, which seals fine, but swells and pops when I remove it, causing me to wait a while before I can recharge.  I'm currently using an o-ring that's 20 mm overall OD, and roughly 2.35 mm thick, after it totally de-gasses.  I want to find something that seals well, but won't suck up CO2, so I don't have to wait so long to re-charge.

Email me for some information, I can't post the pics on this site because they exceed the Limit.

well you need to use urethane O-rings a 114 in inch sizing would be close

the O-ring Store has that size in 70 and 90 duro

metric urethane O-rings are a hard find that are perfect sized sometimes you do the best you can with what is out there

I have some Aeron Brno pistols and they more then likely take the same size but my manuals state 19 x 1.5 so that's 22 od x 19 id x 1.5 cs  so maybe they are different

again if co2 touches an o-ring they have to be urethane or polyurethane

many posts on the subject of o-rings on the 850 forum

Speaking of TAU 200's

I need some of the tiny o rings that fit around the bolt to seal the breach. They are pretty small. Does anyone know what size they are, where to get or an alternative I can use?

Thanks,

Evan from NC

the bolt on the s200 is listed as 3 x 1

which would be 5mm OD x 3mm ID x 1mm CS    I can't see why the bolt size would be different

this might help also it states the O-rings in the rebuild kit but that don't say which is what but a smart fellow should be able to figure it out that kit is a little over 7 bucks but the shipping would kill you

so there is you 3 x 1  and the 19 x 2.4

ok,  thanks much for the info.

I have a TAU200 and fitted a foster's fill piece from a discovery to it so now I used a paintball set up to charge mine. Some time ago on the old yellow I described it but couldn't post pics. Please email me and I'll decribe the fit and some pics of it, or I'll be at the Hickory Airgun show, stop by my table and I'll show you. Thanks again,

Evan from NC
