Hey Guys and gals,

Last night I received my TalonP. Along with the P, I ordered 4 tins of JSB 25 grain king  pellets,spin-loc valve caps set, and a butt stock kit.  After setting the gun up and installing the smallest of the spin-loc valve caps.  I am averaging 450 FPS with the power wheel set to zero.

So far I am very happy with this gun and just buy purchasing the spinloc valve caps this gun is extremely backyard friendly.

More to come later with accuracy and shot strings.

I swap the .070 valve cap over for the stock valve cap.  Then cranked the power to high.  Wow!  That is some power! Below is a picture of the valve caps.  The one on the left is the .070 and the one on the right is the stock.

Do they offer any caps between the small and large ones?  Be nice to have a set in 1/16" increments.

Hey Dave,

The adjustability of this gun with the Adjustable valve caps see endless.  For me I wanted a gun that would put out top power and also be able to tune down to back yard plinking friendly velocities. With the new TalonP I was able to achieve that.

To answer your question finally their are different caps in between the two pictured above.  I will put a picture up of the full kit I got from Airforce.  I plan on trying out different caps to see the velocity range they produce.  As for right now the .070 on low I'm getting 450 and high 500 fps avg.  That for me in my backyard is perfect!

Lucky did the TalonP tank come with the Ring-Loc valve ? Or did you have to buy it with the $50 Cap set too ?

It came with the valve. However  I had to purchase the kit separately.

Good to know the small 213 cc tank has the new valve installed.  Condor U2085 tank 490 cc was only one I saw listed with them. Thank you

R&L had an "Extreme" valve for this gun.  I don't know what was done to it but it was sending lead slugs out at a very high rate of speed.  It was the only change I made to max out this little beast's power!  I don't know if they still offer them, but if they do it's worth picking one up.  Fairly inexpensive as I recall...well worth the price.
