I'm curious if you Veteran .22 Long owners could voice your opinions on your rifle. Talon Tunes had posted a chrono chart on JSB 18 gr that looks very impressive. I was wondering what type of chrono chart might look like shooting the JSB redesigned 25 gr .22 pellets. How's the accuracy?

My Veteran Long in .25 caliber is very quiet. I assume that's because the shroud is so long. I'm using it now without a moderator and all I can hear is the ping from the hammer/valve impact.
Accuracy is absolutely not an issue. Hole in hole is standard for this gun...I don't feel it is possible for anyone to out-shoot the accuracy on this gun.
The only thing I don't like is the rear cocking lever. I'd love to have a mid-pup biathlon lever on this gun! Pappy_yost on another forum makes a 3-D printed snap on biathlon lever for the rear cocking lever which helps a lot.
I can't find any faults with this gun. It's a keeper. Shooting at up to 67 fpe if you want. I've backed mine down to 920 fps with 31 gr Barracudas. I can't count above 40, so I don't know what the max shot per fill is on this gun.

Never had any issues with accuracy with any of my Taipan guns. Never had any zero shift nor unwelcomed unexplained fliers either. Even if they have been sitting unused for a long period of time, I can just grab one and still spot on and hits whatever aimed at. I would confidentally state that they are one of the most accurate and reliable (non problematic non frustrating) guns to own.
I think they are worth more than what they are being sold for.
The Veterans have a droop compensated rail and an anti double feed which is a big plus in my book.
The manufacturer has a good head on his (or her) shoulder.
Have to add that their triggers are FANTASTIC!

I do have the standard length .25 Vet and like it very much for all the reason you enumerated. My guess is that with the .22 Long, a person could get close to 45 ft/lbs with the 25 grain pellets or slugs. It would be very versatile, given the adjustable hammer spring and pellet selection
