That looks like a 2x6 with a barrel hose clamped to it. ?

I'd say it's some kind of stained white-wood (beech?); and judging by the styling of the stock, guess it might have been done by Anthony Storey.

Stock was made in Poland and is beech. Style is used a lot in the UK for field target.

That could be a Steve Corcoran design.  He seemed to make stocks that looked pregnant about 20 years ago.

Maccari stock I fitted & finished out many years ago. It's Myrtlewood. PW tuned the action.
